The pricing in the Chicago land area varies greatly depending on the material used on the half round project. Most contractors are working with Aluminum or Copper. When working with aluminum most contractors prices are between $13-15 per foot Copper is $23-25 per foot this is a base price no frills half round gutter job. You can start getting into scuppers (collector boxes) designer brackets that range as high as $50.00 per bracket... The key to half round sales, is not the price but the customer getting what they truly want. The person that is getting half round typically is the person who is looking to remodel a historic home or someone who truly wants to put the finishing touches on their home. There are so many colors and color combinations that you can go with to make your customer happy. The most popular color combination for 2011 was black brackets with a dark bronze gutter and downspout.
